One Try

One Try is a comedy platformer built from short tricky rooms. Before each attempt the game rolls one to three chaos modifiers, so a simple jump to the exit can suddenly come with slippery ice, reversed controls, flipped gravity, a dark room lit only by a flashlight, or a rude duck that follows you and shoves your things around. Rooms ask you to dodge sweeping lasers, carry fragile cargo, push crates onto pressure switches or climb before acid fills the chamber. When you fail, the restart is almost instant, so the next try is always one key press away. There is a campaign of 30 handcrafted rooms, a daily seed that changes every day, and a 10 level timed gauntlet for speedrunners. Settings include reduced motion, screen shake and a high contrast mode. Desktop and mobile controls are supported.
