Bounty Board pricing

Bounty Board charges a standard 10% platform fee on each side of completed work, and only on completed work: the studio pays the reward total plus 10%, and the creator receives the reward minus 10%. There is no subscription and no credits.

A campaign that pays no cash means game keys only, or a free playtest. Its listing fee is not refunded, and cash campaigns have no listing fee. Bounty Board runs promotions that lower the fee for limited periods.

Funding

How the money moves

Funding
Every campaign is funded up front through Stripe when it is published. The funds are held by Bounty Board, and creators are paid from that budget as work is accepted.
Unused budget
Refunded to the studio with its share of the platform fee, less Stripe's processing fee on the refund, when the campaign closes.
Creator payouts
Creators choose where campaign payouts go: a Stripe account or a PayPal email. Bounty Board holds every payout for 7 days so we can process disputes and catch fraud, then sends it. PayPal takes $0.25 out of each payout in the US, and 2% (up to $20) elsewhere. The 7 days start when the studio approves your work, when a view bonus is measured, or when a competition's results are final.

Arcade

Publishing a game is free

Publish an HTML5 or WebGL game in the Arcade and keep ownership of it. Eligible Arcade studios keep 90% of finalized ad revenue attributed to their game, settled monthly via Stripe once the $50 minimum is reached. Terms apply.
