Frequently asked questions
General questions
Bounty Board combines a free browser game Arcade with a gaming creator marketplace. Players discover indie games right in the browser with no downloads, gaming creators find paid campaigns, and indie, AA, and growing studios turn playable interest into creator work. Most campaigns pay cash, and some include game keys or other rewards.
A gaming creator marketplace is a platform where game studios and gaming creators connect to run creator campaigns. Studios post campaigns, creators apply or accept the work, and creators get paid or rewarded when the work is approved. Bounty Board is built for indie, AA, and growing studios that want creator work without an agency layer.
- Indie, AA, and growing game studios looking to post campaigns for creator work.
- Gaming creators looking for paid campaigns, key based opportunities, streams, videos, posts, and portfolio building work.
- Gamers who want to play free browser games, climb leaderboards, and discover indie titles.
- People must be at least 18 years old or the legal age in their jurisdiction.
Creating an account is free. There is no subscription and no credits to buy. Standard campaigns have no upfront cost, studios only pay when they accept work. Competitions and results based campaigns fund their prize pool up front, and anything unused is automatically refunded. Bounty Board takes a 10% platform fee on each side of completed work, the studio side and the creator side.
No. Bounty Board (bountyboard.gg) is an independent gaming creator marketplace and browser game Arcade, and it is not affiliated with Twitch or Amazon. Twitch ran a separate sponsorship feature called Bounty Board inside the Twitch creator dashboard, which has since been folded into Twitch Open Invite Campaigns. The two have never been connected.
Bounty Board is built by gamers and made specifically for gaming. Every campaign is tied to a game, every creator is a gaming creator, and matching is based on genre, audience, platform, and fit. There are no connects to buy, no spam proposal loop, and the platform fee only applies when work is completed.

Campaigns and payments
- Studios post campaigns with clear requirements, rewards, and timelines.
- Gaming creators apply or submit work according to the campaign brief.
- Studios review and approve the work before releasing payment or the agreed reward.
Bounty Board charges a 10% platform fee on each side of completed work, and only on completed work: the studio pays the reward total plus 10%, and the creator receives the reward minus 10%. There is no subscription, no credits to buy, and no listing fee. Standard campaigns charge nothing up front, you only pay when you accept work. Competitions and results based campaigns fund their budget up front, and anything unused is automatically refunded when they close. Bounty Board runs promotions that lower the fee for limited periods.
Post a campaign with your game, the kind of work you want, the timeline, and the payout or reward. Gaming creators apply if the campaign fits their channel. You review the applicants, choose the creators you want to work with, and manage submissions and payment in Bounty Board.
Create a free profile, browse open campaigns from studios, and apply to the ones that fit your channel. You do not need a huge follower count. Many indie studios care more about audience fit, engagement, genre, and past work than raw reach.
Yes. Bounty Board is built for gaming creators who do not have a million followers yet. Studios can choose creators based on fit, audience, platform, and past work. If a campaign matches your channel, you can apply, create the work, and get paid when the studio approves it.
Payments are processed securely through Stripe. For standard campaigns, the studio is charged when it accepts a submission and the payment is sent to the creator’s Stripe account right away, with a 7 day payout hold for dispute resolution. Creators receive the listed reward minus the 10% creator platform fee. Competitions and results based campaigns are funded up front and held by Bounty Board, prizes and payouts are paid from that budget, and anything unused is automatically refunded to the studio when the campaign closes.
Payment is sent to your Stripe account when the studio approves your work. Stripe then holds the payout for 7 days so any disputes can be resolved before funds reach your account. Creators receive the listed reward minus the 10% creator platform fee.
Competitions and results based campaigns fund their full budget through Stripe before creators can see or enter them. The funds are held by Bounty Board and paid out from that budget as work is approved or prizes are settled. Unused budget is automatically refunded to the studio when the campaign closes.
Some campaigns pay a base reward plus a bonus based on measured views. View based bonuses and results based payouts are measured automatically for YouTube and Twitch. Other platforms, such as TikTok, Instagram, X, and websites, cannot be measured automatically, so work there is reviewed and approved manually.
Campaign rewards can include game keys, on their own or alongside cash. Keys are delivered automatically to the creator’s campaign chat when their application is approved. Bounty Board records delivery only, it does not track whether a key is redeemed in a store.
Yes. A key only campaign distributes game keys to interested creators with no cash reward. Key only campaigns do not require creator work: any coverage is listed as optional for the creators who accept, and keys are delivered automatically when you approve an application.
Yes. Competition campaigns rank entries on a leaderboard, for example fastest speedrun time or highest score on your game, and the top finishers win from the campaign budget when the ranking closes. Competition budgets are funded up front, and anything unused is refunded automatically when the campaign ends.
Disputes and refunds
If there is a dispute over work quality or completion:
- The Studio and creator should attempt to resolve it directly.
- If no resolution is reached, the case can be escalated through Bounty Board’s dispute resolution process.
- Studios are refunded if a creator breaks the campaign terms within the 7 day payout window.
- Completed work is otherwise not refundable. Competitions and results based campaigns automatically refund unused budget when they close.
- All other payment issues, including a studio not paying for completed work, are reviewed case by case through Bounty Board’s dispute resolution system.
Ownership and portfolio rights
Until payment completes, the work belongs to the creator.
- When payment completes, full ownership of all intellectual property rights transfers to the Studio by default.
- Creators retain an irrevocable license to display the work in portfolios and for self promotion, plus use it for non competing purposes.
- Studios may specify custom IP terms in campaign postings to override these defaults. Custom terms cannot change after your application is approved.
Yes, creators always retain an irrevocable right to display their work in portfolios for self promotion, regardless of any custom terms. This portfolio right cannot be waived or restricted by exclusivity provisions.
Playing in the Arcade
Yes. Every game in the Arcade is free and runs right in your browser, with no downloads and no installs. Games work on desktop, and most also work on mobile and tablet browsers.
No. Anyone can play Arcade games without an account. Signing up saves your scores and cloud saves so your progress and leaderboard runs follow you across devices.
Approved Arcade games submit scores through the Arcade SDK. Sign in to put your best runs on each game’s leaderboard and daily board. Guests can play every game, but scores are only saved for signed in players.
They are connected but independent. A studio can run creator campaigns for a game that is also playable in the Arcade, and creators can play a campaign game in the browser before applying. Publishing a game in the Arcade does not create a campaign by itself, and a campaign does not require an Arcade build.
Publishing and the Arcade SDK
Yes. Submit a hosted URL or an HTML5 build to the Arcade. Submissions are reviewed before going live, and approved games can add leaderboards, cloud saves, and rewarded ads through the Arcade SDK.
Browser playable HTML5 and WebGL games, either linked from a URL you host or uploaded as a build with index.html at the root, up to 64 MB per file, 250 MB and 160 files total. Games go live after a quick review for playability and content. Approval lists the game in the Arcade; it does not guarantee traffic or creator coverage.
You do. Publishing in the Arcade never transfers ownership of your game, code, or IP, and you can delist your game whenever you want. Publishing also does not automatically create a marketplace campaign.
URL linked games update whenever you deploy to your own site. Uploaded builds update by submitting a new build from your dashboard, which replaces the live version.
The Arcade SDK adds leaderboards, cloud saves, multiplayer rooms, and rewarded ads to approved HTML5 games with a few lines of code. Integration is optional, games can go live in the Arcade without it.

Methodology: how public numbers are counted
Paid to creators counts funds actually moved to creators through completed payouts: approved campaign payouts and paid campaign tasks, including confirmed bonuses. It excludes game keys, pending or unapproved work, refunded transactions, and test records. Public totals round down, so a figure like $3.9K+ means at least that much. The companion figure, creators with paid work, counts unique creators with at least one completed and paid piece of work, never registered accounts.
A campaign counts as live while it is published, funded where funding is required, and not past its deadline. Draft, expired, and completed campaigns do not count.
Playable indie games counts approved public games that can be launched right now. Arcade play counts are game session starts, not unique players, counted over a stated window (the homepage readout uses the last 7 days). Hours played sums active session playtime over the same window. Studio preview and test sessions are excluded, and public counts are refreshed on a cache window, so different surfaces can lag each other by a few minutes.
It counts each key delivered to a creator through campaign key delivery, including every key in a multi key batch. Keys deliver when an application is approved, so delivery can happen before the creator finishes their work, and a delivered key is never counted as payment or completed work. Bounty Board records delivery only and does not observe store redemption, so the figure always says delivered and ships with an as of date. Test, malformed, and empty delivery records are excluded.
Case study impressions are platform reported impressions from creator submitted analytics for a stated date window. Impressions are not deduplicated unique reach, and store outcomes are only claimed when they were actually measured.
