September 2026 Creator Competition: Official Rules

Rules clarification: September 10, 2026

Play Countdown Cavern or MECHA REDLINE, make a YouTube video, and invite your viewers to beat your gameplay score. Entry is free. The three highest-ranked eligible creators win $250, $100 and $50 before Bounty Board’s 10% creator fee ($225, $90 and $45 after that fee). Winners are ranked by YouTube views, not gameplay scores.

1. Organizer and eligibility

Bounty Board Company, a Delaware corporation, organizes and funds this competition. Questions: admin@bountyboard.gg.

You must be at least 18, have legal capacity to participate, and have a Bounty Board Creator account with your YouTube channel connected. Studios, the competition owner and Bounty Board staff are not eligible. There is no minimum subscriber count. Existing audience size can affect your chance of winning.

Participation must be lawful where you live, and you must be eligible to receive a prize through Bounty Board’s Stripe Connect payout system. Entry is void where prohibited or restricted by applicable law or sanctions. A country appearing on Stripe’s general availability list does not by itself guarantee that Bounty Board can pay you. If unsure, contact us before entering. No purchase, entry fee or payment to Bounty Board is required.

2. Entry period and requirements

Entries are accepted from the competition’s opening until September 30, 2026 at 11:59 PM PDT (America/Los_Angeles). The website’s closing time controls; submit before that cutoff. Videos must have been published after the competition opened. The link submission form checks the publication date.

  • Feature Countdown Cavern or MECHA REDLINE in your own YouTube video and invite viewers to try beating your gameplay score.
  • Submit the video link through the competition page. Posting on YouTube alone does not enter you.
  • You may submit one YouTube video link per game, from one connected channel. You can enter with either game or both. Both standard videos and Shorts are accepted.
  • Keep submitted videos public and available through winner verification and announcement. You must control the channel and have the rights needed to publish your content.
  • You may update your submitted links before closing. Removed or replaced links no longer contribute to your score. Each video may be used only once in this competition.
  • Clearly disclose that your video is an entry in a Bounty Board competition with potential prizes, and follow applicable advertising-disclosure requirements.

3. Ranking and fair participation

Your score is the sum of YouTube-reported views on your accepted entry links at the final measurement. The platform freezes the final counts after entries close; displayed counts during the competition are provisional. This is a views competition, not a gameplay-score competition. Shorts and standard videos use the counts YouTube reports without normalization. An entry with no measurable views does not qualify for a prize. Ties go to the creator who first entered earlier.

Do not buy or bot views, use view exchanges, or reward viewers for watching, liking or subscribing. Genuine sharing is welcome. Entries must comply with YouTube’s Community Guidelines, Terms of Service and contest policies. Non-compliant entries, including artificial engagement, false ownership claims or ineligible content, will be disqualified. Bounty Board verifies winners before paying prizes and may request supporting information. Contact us if you believe a disqualification or measurement is incorrect.

If a provider outage delays the final measurement, verification or payment, we will communicate the delay on the competition page. We will not silently change the announced ranking method, cash ladder or entry deadline.

4. Cash prizes and runner-up extras

  • First eligible verified place: US $250 less a $25 Bounty Board fee = $225 payout.
  • Second eligible verified place: US $100 less a $10 Bounty Board fee = $90 payout.
  • Third eligible verified place: US $50 less a $5 Bounty Board fee = $45 payout.

Bounty Board funds the $400 gross cash pool. The 10% creator platform fee is deducted only from cash prizes awarded: $40 total if all three placements are paid, leaving $360 in combined payouts. There is no fee to enter. Any taxes you owe, currency conversion or charges imposed by your own bank or payout provider are your responsibility. A creator can win only one cash placement. If fewer than three eligible entries qualify, only the occupied placements are awarded; unused cash is not divided among the remaining winners.

FATE PACK’s developer has offered ten Steam keys as additional runner-up prizes. These extras are separate from the guaranteed cash ladder and are intended for eligible creators outside the cash-winning places. The number distributed depends on participation and keys made available by the developer. Available key prizes are awarded in leaderboard order, one per creator for that game; any unallocated keys are not converted to cash. Confirmed allocation and delivery details will be shown on the competition page or sent to recipients. Entry does not guarantee a key.

5. Results and receiving a prize

Winners are announced on the competition page after final measurement and verification. Cash winners are notified through their Bounty Board account and registered email. Payment is sent to an eligible, completed Stripe Connect account. If setup or payment is incomplete, the claim deadline shown in your account is 30 days after finalization. Complete the required verification and claim steps before that deadline; otherwise the prize may be forfeited. Actual bank arrival depends on Stripe and your bank. Never pay anyone to claim a prize.

6. You keep ownership of your entry

You retain ownership of your entry, including if you win a prize. Entering or receiving a prize does not transfer copyright or other ownership rights to Bounty Board or a participating studio. For this competition, this clause overrides any conflicting ownership-transfer or usage restrictions in Bounty Board’s general Terms of Service, including its default IP-transfer provisions.

You grant Bounty Board non-exclusive permission to display your public entry link, embed the video using YouTube’s player, and identify your creator name or channel to administer the competition and announce results. Downloading, editing, re-uploading your video or using it in paid advertising requires separate permission. You remain free to use and monetize your own video. This permission does not transfer rights in the featured games or third-party material.

7. Privacy and YouTube

We use your account and connected-channel information, submitted links, publication dates, view counts and verification information to administer entries, prevent fraud, rank entries, contact winners and deliver prizes. Your creator name, entry links, score and result may appear publicly on the leaderboard and in winner announcements. Payment and identity checks are handled through Stripe. We do not publish your email or payout details. See our Privacy Policy for data handling, retention and privacy requests. Entering does not require subscribing to marketing messages.

YouTube is not a sponsor of this competition and does not administer or endorse it. By entering, you release YouTube from liability related to this competition to the extent permitted by applicable law. Bounty Board is responsible for operating the competition and awarding prizes under these rules.

8. How these rules apply

Submitting or updating entry links means you agree to these rules. The ownership protection and 10% creator-fee disclosure apply to every entry in this September competition, including entries submitted before this clarification. These rules take priority over conflicting general terms for this competition; otherwise the Terms of Service apply. Questions or corrections can be sent to admin@bountyboard.gg.
