About this game
“warspace.io is an .io-style multiplayer game where you conquer the universe”
warspace.io
A free multiplayer browser game where you grow a planet by devouring everything around you.
You start as a small planet in an open universe. You grow by eating food, debris, and rival players — but the bigger you get, the slower you move. Giants can see the whole map and catch nothing on it. The most dangerous player in the room is rarely the largest one.
No download, no signup. Runs on desktop and mobile.
Modes
- Free — a continuous 30-minute match that ends in the Big Crunch. The largest planet alive wins. Respawns are on, so you're never out of it.
- Battle Royale — 50 players, no respawn, and a gas ring that closes in until only one planet is left. Play solo, or in a team of 2–4 with an invite code.
What makes it different
Mass is conserved. Every chunk torn off a planet becomes real debris carrying its actual mass. Nothing is created, nothing evaporates — so every fight leaves a field worth scavenging, and the planet that just won a brawl is standing in free food for whoever gets there next.
Size is a trade-off. Speed falls as mass rises, and mass slowly decays on its own. Growing buys you reach and power, and costs you the ability to chase.
Weapons that punish giants. Homing missiles damage and shatter their target. You can also fire defensively to shoot down missiles already flying at you. Burst and cluster shots round out the arsenal.
A hostile universe. Stars burn your mass on contact and eventually explode into a supernova. Asteroid belts chip away at anything that drifts through them.
The ring pulls the map with it. In Battle Royale the food and the stars follow the shrinking circle, so the endgame is a dense, close-quarters fight instead of an empty standoff between two giants — and a small planet can genuinely climb back.
A room that feels alive. Text chat and push-to-talk voice, a kill feed, a live leaderboard, a radar, and spectator mode after you die. Every planet in the lobby has a name, a nationality, and something to say.
Progression
XP and levels, tiered achievements, coins and a shop, plus global and per-country rankings. 94 skins, including secret ones unlocked by your nickname and one that puts your own photo on your planet.
Presentation
The sky shifts with the real-world clock across three themes — dawn, sunset, and dusk. Planets wobble and squash as they move, particles glow, and the soundtrack is synthesized live, building as the match heats up.
