THE HUMANS FELL ASLEEP. THE CATS OPENED A HOSPITAL.

They served us, brought us food and opened the jars. Then they fell asleep, all at once. We did not notice straight away, because we sleep eighteen hours ourselves. We treat them so they wake up.

Grab it, haul it, treat it.

A patient is a ragdoll that weighs as much as a grown human. Carrying one is easier with two of you, more fun with four, and funniest on your own. Every procedure is done with paws, and paws will let you down.

Diseases that do not exist.

Spaghetti Spine. Broken Heart. Xylophonitis. The instruments give you the diagnosis. The treatment gets put together on the spot, and sometimes it is even the right one.

The claw bed.

You cannot carry a human in your teeth, so the cats built themselves new paws: a bed with a claw-machine arm. Sit in it, hit the button, the human flies. Sometimes where you meant.

Talk to each other. Or don't, and watch it fall apart.

Voice chat is built in, so nobody has to set up anything on the side, and there is a text chat for what you would rather type. The voice is not positional on purpose: you hear each other across the whole clinic, because a shift stops working the moment the cat two rooms away goes quiet.

A shift for four.

Shifts run against the clock. Between them there are gurney races, because somebody has to settle who the best doctor here is. Plays solo, or with up to four.
