Elysian

Elysian is a cyberpunk wave shooter built for the web, playable in a desktop or phone browser and in WebXR headsets. In single player Survival, waves of hostile droids keep coming, and your job is to stay alive as the pressure builds. Multiplayer deathmatch puts up to four players into five minute rounds, and the highest kill count wins.

Your energy shield is the key tool in both: raise it to deflect incoming fire, then drop it to shoot back. In VR you move with the left stick, snap turn with the right, fire with the right trigger and hold the left grip for the shield. On desktop it is WASD, mouse aim and Shift for the shield. On a phone, an onscreen joystick and buttons do the same jobs.

It is a compact arena shooter rather than a long campaign, so each session comes down to movement, aim, and winning the next firefight.
