Cirrata

Cirrata is a fast-paced rogue-lite, Metroidvania inspired action-platformer. Play as Kier, a red panda chef turned warrior, battling through an ever-changing world. Wield your trusty chef's knife and a growing arsenal to slice enemies, uncover secrets, and forge your own path.

The kitchen is the mechanic. Kier starts every run with a chef's knife and finds other culinary tools in combat, each with three tiers of attack. Between fights the loop is about provisions and fuel: you gather ingredients and keep the kitchen fires supplied, and every meal you cook gives Kier a different effect. Combining those effects is how you handle the larger encounters and how you earn the rarer weapons and loot, so two runs with the same route can play very differently depending on what was on the menu.

Cirrata is developed by Aaron under the Cirrata name, with a soundtrack composed by hearbenji, and it can be wishlisted on Steam for Windows.
