CLASHROIDS is a multiplayer space arena in the browser that mixes classic Asteroids movement with territory control, building and upgrades. Pilot your ship through a shared battlefield, blast asteroids for materials, fight other players, and spend what you collect on hexagonal territory and defensive positions.
Score based ranks open up stronger upgrades, including radar range, rotation speed, top speed and hull strength. Rooms hold up to 50 players, and beyond free for all combat there are team territory control modes and other competitive formats. Keyboard and mouse, gamepad and touch are all supported, with alternate control modes.
It plays as part arcade shooter, part lightweight real time strategy game. You are not only surviving the firefight; you are deciding where to build, when to upgrade, and how much of the map your side can hold. It is free to play in the browser, and a Steam demo is live.
