Nitoryu is a browser puzzle game that fuses two classic matching styles and lets you switch between them at any moment. Clear gems with ordinary match three moves, or draw a long chain of matching pieces with a single swipe, then turn those clears into bombs and bigger combos.
The name means two sword style, after Miyamoto Musashi, and the game treats its two systems as a pair of blades rather than separate modes. The strongest clears come from knowing when to change your grip.
There are 25 handcrafted levels, a one minute Challenge mode for quick score runs, and an Endless mode for longer sessions. A Japanese and English language toggle is built in, and the whole game runs in the browser with nothing to download. Learn both styles and the long combos start to chain themselves together.
